PARIS TO MIAMI / The Fall-Winter 2025 Men’s Pre-Collection

The Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter 2025 Men’s Pre-Collection by Pharrell Williams embarks on a cross-continental cruise from Paris to Miami. Evoking the golden age of transatlantic travel by ship and the glory days of Miami Beach, the wardrobe traces the recreational roots of the dandy dressing core to the House Men’s proposal. Re-energised through a contemporary lens, it portrays the creative evolution that takes place when dress codes travel from one domain to another. In its transition across the sea, it illustrates the LVERS philosophy at the heart of the Louis Vuitton Studio Prêt-à-Porter Homme: the values and discernment that bind together its global community from Paris to Miami and everywhere in between.

CRUISE TO RESORT / Dandy downtime

The collection takes a LVERS approach to holidaymaking. Envisioned in two parts, it adapts to the environments of the dandy’s voyage from the sea to the sand. The first chapter – the transit wardrobe – salutes the tailoring and classic sartorial sportswear called for by the cruise liner dress code. Bathed in the colours of the sunset and its reflection in the sea, notions of the relaxed but refined take form in contemporary, sporty takes on formal tailoring countered by elegant expressions of loungewear. Integrating the environment of the cruise, materials assimilate the plush interiors of the seaborne hotel, while graphics nod at naval iconography. The second chapter – the arrival wardrobe – acclimatises to the beach and pool culture distinctive to Miami in adaptations of its characteristic elements. Conjuring the pastel-painted lightness of resort life, the lines between day- and loungewear blur with the props of the pool and the plage in off-duty proposals transformed through amplified savoir-faire.

TRANSIT / The voyage

A pattern of tiny boats makes up the Monogram Regatta print. Exercised on a blue and white nylon windbreaker and chambray shorts, it serves as the season’s emblematic motif. Naval codes further reverberate in collarless sailing jackets and the stripes of shirts and knitwear. Rendered in the nuances of the sunset and the textures of a ship’s plush interiors, a form-fitted Jazz Age silhouette is revitalised in three-piece dandy suits expanded in volume, with the shawl collars of lounge- and eveningwear adapted in dinner jackets and peignoirs for day. The mercurial effect of moiré is contemporised as jacquard in a coat, jacket and shirt; as denim in a suit; and as cotton-linen in a windbreaker. A sporty driving jacket is formalised in beige fine wool echoed in a double-breasted suit, while a technical jacket and mac are romanticised in elegant Alcantara. Monogram takes multifaceted forms, embossed on a leather track blouson, flocked on a cotton-denim workwear suit, and encrusted in crystal all over a burgundy jumper and a black hoodie. Art nouveau accents grace graphics and emblems.

ARRIVAL / The destination

The atmosphere of Miami’s grand hotels seeps into lounge and pool attire elevated into daywear, painted in the pastels of the city’s sun-kissed coastal milieu. A sage shawl-collared coat posing as a robe encrusted with a jacquard hotel back emblem is constructed in poolside French terry towelling, which reappears in a strawberry pink track top and shorts. Bowling sets in aqua and pink silk, and pyjama suits in khaki and magenta, are highlighted with Monogram Glow motifs in contrast pop pastels. Along with matching shorts, oversized striped shirts include a long silk viscose over-shirt with pyjama trousers emblazoned with a blue jacquard Monogram overpainted in red stripes. The resort-centric motif expands in a Breton-striped blue and white polo shirt in tonal Monogram jacquard, and in mixed Bengal-striped shirts with matching trousers, shorts and swim shorts. The raffia native to the beach environment transforms into a collarless natural-nuance jacket and a washed black chambray denim set with raffia detailing, while a sheer beige t-shirt is embroidered with raffia Damier squares.

TRUNKS / Bags

Leather goods are infused with the characteristics of cruise-liner and hotel environments central to the collection, and adorned with aged tan VVT sfumato trims introduced by Pharrell Williams. The Monogram Heritage motif evolves in naval-inspired off-white or light blue canvas bags adorned with hotel key charms, including a Marina Tote with a ruche closure, a Bobo Trunk with metal accents, and a Coffee Trunk. A Damier Denim 3D pattern in sun-bleached indigo appears across icons and new icons such as the Montsouris Cargo Backpack, the Cargo Keepall and the Nevereverfull. With its vibrant contrast colours, the Monogram Glow pattern is rendered in light grey with yellow Monogram, cement grey with pink Monogram, and azure blue with fiery red Monogram, and features across icons, Danube and Nil slings, and 1980s-imbued messengers with contrast lining. The Miami Jacquard is a vintage-effect Miami-scenery tapestry in blues and greens exercised in new icons including the Shopper Tote, the Montsouris Cargo Backpack, and the Speedy. Monogram Cruising bags in woven, double-embossed leather with metal accents materialise in a Squeeze Trunk and a Steamer. Raffia bags with tonal logos take shape across icons and a Beach Shopper. Exceptional bag editions include a Speedy P9 30 in black suede with hand-embroidered crystal Monogram, a handwoven wicker Keepall 25, and a dolphin-shaped bag in Monogram Canvas with pearl eyes. Crafted in Monogram Canvas, the collection also features a pool ring bag, a boccia bag with matching balls, and a champagne cooler in white crockery.

GEAR AND GEMS / Accessories and jewellery

A sailor beret is embellished with rope trims and pinstripes, which also feature on a pearl-buttoned denim baseball cap. Knitted accessories span terry towel socks, a bucket hat crafted from heat-transformable yarn, and pique-effect cotton logo socks. Silk bandanas and cotton stoles are rendered in paisley or Heritage Monogram, and silk squares are adorned with the Monogram Glow or steamy window motifs. Ship ropes are evoked in silver-plated metal chains and bracelets, while other metal chain bracelets are beaded from materials native to the beach. Sailor Coffee bean necklaces and bracelets forged in aged sterling silver or aged brass are embellished with inflated logo elements echoed in matching earrings.

CHROMOTHERAPY / Sunglasses

The LV Super Vision evolves into a sophisticated ultra-light structure with large square rimless black or navy lenses set on a delicate metal top bar with gold or silver finish. The LV Pure Low is a nautical-inspired oval silhouette expressed with an elegant gold-metal frame and black or pink lenses. It expands into the LV Pure Low Square, which features black or blue lenses set in a lightweight square frame. Distinguishable by its speed-driven golden temple stripes, the LV Slide Square manifests in black acetate with black lenses or in chocolate tortoise acetate with deep blue lenses. The shape adapts into a Square Round shape, a softer silhouette rendered in black acetate, and the Large Square shape, which magnifies in volume and appears in black acetate with black lenses and light tortoise acetate with yellow lenses for a vintage effect.

FOOTPRINTS / Shoes

Shoes draw on the spirit of the transatlantic dandy, the dress codes of sailing, and elements native to the beach. The LV Scala is a loafer adorned with a new distorted metal logo, crafted in black glazed leather, including a version with a raffia vamp. The Runaway Maxi amplifies the volume of the existing design and materialises in black or white leather. The beach-centric material of raffia graces an LV Easy mule with a rubber sole and an LV Major loafer. The LV Footprint football boot evolves in pink, light blue, brown and sand in a lightly faded suede with removable tongues. The LV Venice sandal appears in a new shiny version in brown, teal and pink. Finally, the super soft LV Traveller slipper – inspired by those offered in hotels – takes form in classic leather Monogram, and beige or light blue suede with embossed Monogram.
