Genny’s new Resort SS25 was created to meet feminine different attitudes, modern sensibilities and characteristics.
A woman who designs for other women, attentive to their aesthetic and practical needs.
Sara Cavazza has conceived the new Spring-Summer 2025 Resort collection in accordance with these exact and accurate inputs, thus developing a line in which femininity is revealed in the material and chromatic choices, creating a stylistic absolute.
Decisive touches on an increasingly pure, synthesized style. Decoration comes to life in the antipodes of a precious detail and a sartorial line, while everything is enhanced and emphasized through color. The color palette ranges from white, Genny‘s quintessential color, to nude, salmon pink, light blue up to black.
Lines are fluid and sensual in georgette dresses and unusual volumes characterized by plissé details.
Femininity is best expressed in the jersey dresses caressing the body in a dichotomy of materials, with draping indulging the shapes.
Waistcoats and jackets are deconstructed, going from being an iconic garment of menswear, to being simplified to acquire a new sensuality.
The orchid, the symbol of the Maison, turns into embroidery and precious detail in the all-over rhinestones’ applications and, thanks to accurate trimming, into a decorative element on summer fabrics.
All fabrics are unique and sophisticated: crackle cotton, cotton cover, poplin and iridescent organza, linen lurex, handball satin, envers satin. Wet-look iridescent sequins create unusual shades by drawing on the color palette.
Knitwear consists of under-jacket designs to be combined with fabrics, dresses and small items with a “boxy” style for cool shapes that anatomically follow the body.
Accessories made of denim and soft plongé in the collection colors provide the final touch to the new look.
