Precious Dior couture tailoring takes shape

Discover the making of two precious Dior Couture Spring-Summer 2020 suits designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. In the atelier tailleur, our petites mains were hard at work painstakingly measuring, cutting out, shaping and interweaving bands of gold lamé ottoman fabric to transform contemporary interpretations of the House’s famous Dior Bar Jacket into shimmering marvels of tailoring savoir-faire.

In the atelier tailleur, bands of gold lamé ottoman fabric are cut, shaped and interwoven with mathematical precision to follow every curve and flare of two suits in the Dior Spring-Summer 2020 Haute Couture collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
