Dior unveils an original necklace by Kim Jones for Marc Jacobs 40th Anniversary
To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Marc Jacobs brand, Kim Jones has created a unique necklace inspired by the iconic universe of the American designer, highlighting the special bond he has with him.
This most covetable piece will be available starting November 28 in a limited edition of just 20. It is distinguished by Kim Jones’ skillful blend of Marc Jacobs’ signature styles with luxurious details.
Composed of a voluminous curved chain, it features the initials “CD” and “MJ” crafted into whimsical balloon shapes complemented by delicate crystal tassels that create a playful trompe-l’œil effect.
This captivating reinvention reflects the ongoing dialogue between Marc Jacobs and Kim Jones, who have collaborated on various projects that showcase their shared vision.
