Reconnecting with the magic of this legendary ball, Maria Grazia Chiuri for this grand and unique event created, for a handful of personalities and friends of Dior, exclusive designs in collaboration with two Venetian Houses of great renown: Bevilacqua and Rubelli. Precious cloths based on the Fortuny archives were used to dress the tables of the charity dinner.
A magical and sparkling performance created by the artist Parolabianca featured dancers and stilt walkers. These moving tableaux were enhanced by sculptural reflective dresses baptized Constellation designed by Italian artist Pietro Ruffo in collaboration with the Artistic Director of Dior’s women’s collections to represent the starry night sky and the 12 signs of the zodiac.
This exceptional evening paid tribute to Dior’s heritage and the House’s precious ties with Venice, as well the excellence of a savoir-faire in perpetual movement.
