A fascinating ode to excellence in savoir-faire, the Dior Summer 2025 Men’s Collection dreamed up by Kim Jones combines utility, longevity, inventiveness, and heritage.

Inspired by the motifs and monumentalism of the oeuvre of South African artist Hylton Nel, the artistic director weaves several captivating creative dialogues, at the crossroads of craftsmanship and couture.

The silhouettes, shaped by the virtuosity of the hand, reveal curves as sculptural as they are practical. Reflecting this prodigious fusion, the pieces encompass playful patterns, prints and ceramic fastenings, all gleaned from the artist’s world.

In tailoring and outerwear rounded volumes predominate, giving a sensuous finish. Footwear concentrates on one of the most traditional working shoes: the clog, while humble and noble materials find expression in the bags, where hardwearing canvas can be counterpointed with raffia or leather. More than ever, these exceptional models shine with a sense of different ateliers coming together without hierarchy, the global with the local. The artisans’ skill, intent and pride in their work unites all.
