The 2018 Guggenheim International Gala (GIG) took place on November 14 and 15 in the Museum’s landmark building and celebrated the generosity of the Edmond De Rothschild Foundations and Philanthropists Dimitris Daskalopoulos and Alice Walton.
The festive events began with the Pre-Party on Wednesday, November 14, featuring a special performance by R&B singer songwriter Jorja Smith in the iconic Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Rotunda.
The benefit Dinner on the following evening, Thursday, November 15, paid tribute to the 2018 honorees in recognition of their longstanding and dedicated commitment to supporting the Arts.
